 Finally after all we have been through we got our editing done! It was a struggle, but we are very pleased with our final outcome of our video. I spent multiple hours working on color correction and splitting up the clips. I kept revising the edits until me and my group agreed on its looks. Something that I found myself changing over and over again was the transitioning. We couldn't really find a good way to smoothly transition the clips from clip to clip. It took some cutting out of film, and small changes in speed of the video to get the proper transitions complete. The concept of color correction that I wanted for the video was similar to that of the real music video. It was dark and cinematic creating a ominous and cinematic mood for the video. I haven't fully committed to the full result as of yet. I still and doing research on conventions to perfect the realism of the music video.  Once we tried to begin editing, we had trouble importing the videos into Adobe Premiere Pro. I tried to convert the videos into new file types, and it wasn't working. However, I didn't lose faith. I uploaded all the files from my phone to my computer, and renamed all the video names. This finally worked, but my troubles were not over. I had problems with being able to get a downloaded issue of our song for free. Every time I wanted to download the song it prompted me to pay. After enough digging, I found a solution. Which was a website where you can convert YouTube videos to audio downloads for free. Some small issues that my partners ran into included not being able to find a good free editing site. I pay for Adobe Premiere Pro, however, they do not. This means they don't have the luxury that I do when it comes to editing.  We finally filmed for our music video! We filmed in Jacksons community and we had little to know issues. We were all able to accomplish what we needed for the video, and the results will be what we expected and more. The raw footage from filming was incredible in its self. Even without the music and color correction, you can tell the mood and vibe of the story. With some good editing skills from myself, I have very high hopes in the quality of this video. Kyle's acting was great, as expected. And the shots given from Jackson were exceptional. I went to Jacksons house at round 3:30 pm. Kyle showed up shortly after. We then made our way over to the area where we wanted to film. Once we arrived, we got setup, checked with the employees of the community, and started filming.         After our holiday break for thanksgiving, we started to discuss our plans for filming. We plan to meet up next weekend to film for our video, and split up responsibilities for editing for the following week. I hope to get all the needed shots and scenery in Jacksons community. However, if we need some more scenery we will all go to my neighborhood to finish the shots. I'm looking forward to implementing a real life story that Kyle has experienced into the music video.  This way the story can have more meaning behind it. And overall, it will make more sense to the audience. This story is about the injury he sustained and how it affected his life. With his injury from sports, he has come over many obstacles with his life, and the illustration in the music video will show.   My song is a Hip Hop song, i n these style of music videos, you usually see people in nice cars or there is a story that follows the song. A common story is a love/romance story.   Commonly they have luxury props and designer clot hes, in this genre, it is common to see people flaunting their success.   Most videos are told in a story that directly correlates to the song.   Hip hop videos also consist of happy people and partying.   The type of video depends on the context and contents of the song.   1. Convention and Codes for hip-hop videos is dancing and people having a good time. They tend to be artistic and abstract in some cases, depending on the artists sty le.   2. Second Scene: Tom brady who is a famous football player (Me) will come into frame and introduces himself to Nate (Kyle). Third Scene Nate (Kyle) explains what he is going through to Tom Brady (Me) in hopes to get help and guidance.  Fourth Scene: Close up shot of Tom Brady (Me) and Nate (Kyle) having this prolonged conversation about how he can recover from this injury and begin his road to recovery.  I will be working with my good friends Jackson Hirsch and Kyle Ford for my project. I chose Jackson for many reasons. I am very good at editing and filming media content. This includes skills that will assist me with creating the best possible music video for this project. These skills include very good editing skills with past knowledge of filming in the film industry. I also own equipment that will allow the quality of my groups video to be very good. Jackson and Kyle brings their directing skills and smarts to the table when it comes to media. Jackson and Kyle are also very creative and can come up with good ideas for scenes.  Hello, my name is Zane Royer, and I play football for the school team as a student-athlete. I'm a tight end, so that's my position. Because I am young enough for JV and skilled enough for varsity, I play on both teams. As much as I like playing football, I also like watching it. I don't like any Florida college teams because I am an Ohio State supporter. In order to fulfill my academic and football ambitions, I want to be awarded a scholarship to a division 1 university.
