Intro

 Hello, my name is Zane Royer, and I play football for the school team as a student-athlete. I'm a tight end, so that's my position. Because I am young enough for JV and skilled enough for varsity, I play on both teams. As much as I like playing football, I also like watching it. I don't like any Florida college teams because I am an Ohio State supporter. In order to fulfill my academic and football ambitions, I want to be awarded a scholarship to a division 1 university. In my spare time, I also like to go boating and hang out with friends. My boating license and learner's permit were just issued to me. I like to listen to music. When I'm not practicing or playing football on the weekends, I like to go fishing. About 20 miles out, I caught a 130-pound shark, which was the largest fish I've ever caught. I visited Alaska over the summer and took my first cruise. I enjoy traveling to areas like my family in the north and the Keys. I recently traveled to Tallahassee for the team's varsity game. We went to visit FSU, UCF, and FAMU while we were there. In middle school, I edited videos for my courses, and I have a lot of expertise with Adobe editing programs. In this session, I'm looking forward to learning more about special effects and filmmaking. What the workload for this class will be like this year still intrigues me. To earn my AICE credit, though, I'm ready to ace the course. Overall, I am looking forward to this class and the opportunities it will present.

  To be completely honest, that has to be one of the most disturbing films I’ve watched in a long time. There was no talking throughout the whole short film. The setting was lifeless and looked as if this animated world had been abandoned. The plot started with  two doll-like figures with some sort of numbers on their back, one being 5 and the other being 9. They end up coming across this mechanical looking monster, it looks like they went for a mixture of a lion and a dog type of design but made entirely of metal. It had bright green eyes and a disturbing roar. This monster proceeds to abduct the doll labelled 5 and uses a green portal device to kill him. The other doll that was labelled 9 was terrified and ran away to go hide. Eventually it comes to the doll labelled 9 find pieces of junk that he puts together to create a torch however, with a lightbulb doll 9 ends up attracting the monster into a abandoned cave like setting, where doll 9 intraps themself on a large wooden p...

Production Blog - We edited our video!

       Since the last blog many things have progressed. I have began editing and almost completed editing for my video. When editing my video I went through many trial and error of how I wanted the videos overall feeling to be. It took me a little more than 15 mins to find the song I wanted to use. I used real Gatorade ads as context for the music and music style that I wanted to use. Once I found the music video I wanted to use I added some non-copyright sound effects to use for add on effects. It took me a while to cut up and find proper transitioning and timing for the video. One thing I have definitely learned that editing takes time and patience to get the best possible outcome. I also added some filters and color correction on the video to create a dramatic and intense effect on the video. Once I had the major components combined I began to work on the small details.  Scene 1:Travis will be working on his car with a voice over of him introducing his life and him as a person. He is then interrupted by his mom, who tells him to go do his homework. Scene 2: Travis will be working on his homework after being told to by his mother, and look bored, this will introduce the "teen" factor of his life. Scene 3: Travis will be in class daydreaming and not paying attention, then his teacher will make sure he snaps back into place. Scene 4:  Travis at home looking at cars and doing what he enjoys. Scene 5: Travis seen walking in halls around school, and then is approached by the school bully, who beats him up and sends him to the nurse.  Scene 6: Travis at the nurse after getting beat up. She gives him ice, nothing to severe.  Scene 7: Travis goes to an interview at the mechanic and gets the job. The scene will include his interview questions, and the entirety of the process.
