Props: 

The props we will be using are very limited. The props that will be used will be random things that give an idea of luxury, I plan to go and purchase some things, and I will ellaborate on the specifics in laters blogs once I make my purchases. 

Costumes: 

We will be wearing nicer clothes to fit the theme for our commercial, I have yet to decide the specifics, but the costumes will most likley be designer clothes. 

Schedule: 

On 12/18/22, Jackson, Kyle and I will create our research, storyboard, and planning blog. 

On 12/20/22, Jackson, Kyle and I will get all the props and materials we need for the video. 

On 12/2222, Jackson, Kyle and I will film what is needed for our Music Video. 

On 12/24/22, Jackson, Kyle and I will edit the final touches for our Music Video. 

 

Location List: 

We will be using Jacksons neighborhood to film the commercial.  

Our secondary location is to film in my neighborhood. 

Kyles Neighborhood.

Backup Plan: 

If for some reason my group is not able to film in Jackson's community, we will go to either Kyle or my neighborhood.

  To be completely honest, that has to be one of the most disturbing films I’ve watched in a long time. There was no talking throughout the whole short film. The setting was lifeless and looked as if this animated world had been abandoned. The plot started with  two doll-like figures with some sort of numbers on their back, one being 5 and the other being 9. They end up coming across this mechanical looking monster, it looks like they went for a mixture of a lion and a dog type of design but made entirely of metal. It had bright green eyes and a disturbing roar. This monster proceeds to abduct the doll labelled 5 and uses a green portal device to kill him. The other doll that was labelled 9 was terrified and ran away to go hide. Production Blog - We edited our video!

       Since the last blog many things have progressed. I have began editing and almost completed editing for my video. When editing my video I went through many trial and error of how I wanted the videos overall feeling to be. It took me a little more than 15 mins to find the song I wanted to use. I used real Gatorade ads as context for the music and music style that I wanted to use. Once I found the music video I wanted to use I added some non-copyright sound effects to use for add on effects. It took me a while to cut up and find proper transitioning and timing for the video. One thing I have definitely learned that editing takes time and patience to get the best possible outcome. I also added some filters and color correction on the video to create a dramatic and intense effect on the video. Once I had the major components combined I began to work on the small details. Storyboard

 Scene 1:Travis will be working on his car with a voice over of him introducing his life and him as a person. He is then interrupted by his mom, who tells him to go do his homework. Scene 2: Travis will be working on his homework after being told to by his mother, and look bored, this will introduce the "teen" factor of his life. Scene 3: Travis will be in class daydreaming and not paying attention, then his teacher will make sure he snaps back into place. Scene 4:  Travis at home looking at cars and doing what he enjoys. Scene 5: Travis seen walking in halls around school, and then is approached by the school bully, who beats him up and sends him to the nurse.  Scene 6: Travis at the nurse after getting beat up. She gives him ice, nothing to severe.  Scene 7: Travis goes to an interview at the mechanic and gets the job. The scene will include his interview questions, and the entirety of the process.
