Football Problems

I have continued to fall behind in my editing of this film due to my commitment to the football team. I have football practice everyday after school until 6:00pm. This has set me back in the amount of work I am able to complete week-week. I have 6 other courses besides this one the I have to keep up with. With all of this work it has been very hard to make this class a priority. With multiple exams coming up in my schedule I have not been doing a lot of work within this course. I hope that once I complete my exams in the coming days I will be able to allot more time for working in this course. With football being a very physically demanding sport it leaves me very tired and overly exhausted to do my school work. I understand that this class needs to be a priority and I will work to treat it as one through the coming weeks. There is no valid excuse for the delay of editing within my production process and I plan to heavily step up my game. We are looking to arrange an editing session all together because we have finished trimming all of the scenes. The editing will need to be a group process so that we can have the best possible outcome. We plan to use all of the input from our group members to better the final product. I also plan on showing it to my family and friends to get some constructive criticism. But overall, my goal is to start editing either tomorrow or today. I have contacted the other members in the group and everyone is onboard with the plan. Hopefully by the next time we meet I will have started and be close to done with editing. The team has been very easy to work with thus far and I hope this continues. Elena has been amazing in her contributions to this project which I know will payoff in the end.   To be completely honest, that has to be one of the most disturbing films I’ve watched in a long time. There was no talking throughout the whole short film. The setting was lifeless and looked as if this animated world had been abandoned. The plot started with  two doll-like figures with some sort of numbers on their back, one being 5 and the other being 9. They end up coming across this mechanical looking monster, it looks like they went for a mixture of a lion and a dog type of design but made entirely of metal. Short Film Research: Other side of the box, Thriller genre

  The rainy, dismal night opens the first scene of the short film Other Side of the Box. A man driving throughout the city has a terrified expression on his face. We see glimpses of a mysterious figure in the rearview mirror that appears to be pursuing him. The man pulls up to an empty warehouse, opens the door, and leaves. Despite his efforts to locate a hiding place, it appears that the person has already located him. He turns as he hears footsteps and spots the shadowy figure standing at the doorway. The apparition approaches and stands over him, grinning, as he stumbles and hits the ground while attempting to flee.Even as he begs for his life, the figure lunges forward and draws a knife. A scuffle ensued, and he made an effort to retaliate. When it appears that there is no chance left, a group armed with rifles approaches and storms the building.   "Jet" is the title of the film. An overhead view of a man looking through the front windshield of an automobile opens the movie. An vehicle accelerates up a hill in the distance. As the man pulls a pistol to his side, the camera moves to the side of his head, exposing his intention to commit suicide. At that moment, a little girl bounces down the street, and the man grabs the daughter, puts the gun in the van, and drives up, leaving him unsure of what to do. After cutting to a scene of a man warily crossing a forest line to check where the car had disappeared, the action shifts to the man running through the trees in the direction of the house.He hides behind the car, stays in the bush, and runs across the front yard in time to see a man approach and take the girl out.
