Intro Blog

 Hello my name is Zane Royer, I am a student athlete, I play for the school football team. The position I play is Tight end. I play varsity football for my high school. I enjoy watching football as much as I enjoy playing it. I am an Florida State fan, and also a Miami dolphins fan. My goal is to get a scholarship to a division 1 school to pursue my dreams of football and education. I also enjoy hanging out with friends and boating in my free time. I just got my drivers license and I have my boaters license. I enjoy listening to music in my free time as well. On the weekends when I am not playing football I like to do things like going fishing. The biggest fish I have ever caught was a 130 lb shark about 20 miles off shore. Over the summer I went to the keys and participated in my first competitive fishing tournament. I like visiting places like the keys and my family up north. Soon I will be going on another fishing tournament in the Bahamas, and I am looking forward to it. I feel my editing last year was superb and look forward to further improving it this year. I look forward to learning more about filming and special effects this year. I am still curious on what the work load for this class will look like this year. However, I am prepared to pass the class to get my Aice credit. Overall I am excited for this class and looking forward to what my second year has to offer.

I apologize for not being able to film over the weekend because of my football practice. My football practice schedule conflicted with our filming plans. I had already committed to my football team's practice schedule for the weekend. Unfortunately, my football practice took up all my time and energy. Comparing 9, the short, and 9, the full-length movie

  To be completely honest, that has to be one of the most disturbing films I’ve watched in a long time. There was no talking throughout the whole short film. The setting was lifeless and looked as if this animated world had been abandoned. The plot started with  two doll-like figures with some sort of numbers on their back, one being 5 and the other being 9. They end up coming across this mechanical looking monster, it looks like they went for a mixture of a lion and a dog type of design but made entirely of metal. It had bright green eyes and a disturbing roar. This monster proceeds to abduct the doll labelled 5 and uses a green portal device to kill him. The other doll that was labelled 9 was terrified and ran away to go hide. Eventually it comes to the doll labelled 9 find pieces of junk that he puts together to create a torch however, with a lightbulb doll 9 ends up attracting the monster into a abandoned cave like setting, where doll 9 intraps themself on a large wooden p...
