Lets get ready to rumble!

    Due to some conflict in our plans, my group has re-scheduled our filming to next weekend. We are however still pumped for filming. I was able to get a hold of some friends to use some equipment. I have received permission to use my friends gimble which I will get from him on Monday. My team has also confirmed that we will be filming partially at Jacksons house, and partially at the school that Kyles mom works at. This is because in our storyboard the protagonist is shot in "his school" multiple times. We have yet to decide a day we will film at the school, however, we plan it will be the following week. Just off the first couple days, I have noticed that scheduling is a huge issue. This is partially due to Jackson and I being athletes, and most of our time is takin up by training for our sport. However, Kyle and Kevin both have more time to film, so we might get them to film some scenes by themselves. Kevin has ben a huge part of this entire process so far, and I am trying to get the other members to live up to what he does. Jackson has been more than disappointing in his ideas that he has put on the table. Hopefully, he improves in the filming portion of this project. He usually does pull through during this period, and he becomes very valuable. Kyle has been what I expected him to be. He helps out when needed and does what he needs to do. Hopefully throughout the coming weeks Jackson steps up to the plate and starts to excel in his work. Until then, Kyle Kevin and I will continue to try and make this project the best it can be. There has not really been other major updates since the last time we talked. I hope that it will remain this way. I am not going to sit here and hope for lots of changes. If things keep going like this, we will have an amazing project with little stress.

  To be completely honest, that has to be one of the most disturbing films I’ve watched in a long time. There was no talking throughout the whole short film. The setting was lifeless and looked as if this animated world had been abandoned. The plot started with  two doll-like figures with some sort of numbers on their back, one being 5 and the other being 9. They end up coming across this mechanical looking monster, it looks like they went for a mixture of a lion and a dog type of design but made entirely of metal. It had bright green eyes and a disturbing roar. This monster proceeds to abduct the doll labelled 5 and uses a green portal device to kill him. The other doll that was labelled 9 was terrified and ran away to go hide. Production Blog - We edited our video!

       Since the last blog many things have progressed. I have began editing and almost completed editing for my video. When editing my video I went through many trial and error of how I wanted the videos overall feeling to be. It took me a little more than 15 mins to find the song I wanted to use. I used real Gatorade ads as context for the music and music style that I wanted to use. Once I found the music video I wanted to use I added some non-copyright sound effects to use for add on effects. It took me a while to cut up and find proper transitioning and timing for the video. One thing I have definitely learned that editing takes time and patience to get the best possible outcome. I also added some filters and color correction on the video to create a dramatic and intense effect on the video. Once I had the major components combined I began to work on the small details.  Scene 1:Travis will be working on his car with a voice over of him introducing his life and him as a person. He is then interrupted by his mom, who tells him to go do his homework. Scene 2: Travis will be working on his homework after being told to by his mother, and look bored, this will introduce the "teen" factor of his life. Scene 3: Travis will be in class daydreaming and not paying attention, then his teacher will make sure he snaps back into place. Scene 4:  Travis at home looking at cars and doing what he enjoys. Scene 5: Travis seen walking in halls around school, and then is approached by the school bully, who beats him up and sends him to the nurse.  Scene 6: Travis at the nurse after getting beat up.
