Peer review time!

 After a long editing process we finally finished editing the video. I sent the video to about 5-6 of my friends so they could give me some feedback. So far I have only received some basic feedback from a couple of friends on improving the quality of the audio. This is something that I have already been working on that just is not complete yet. Other than that the feedback on the movie has been pretty good. Before sending them the movie I asked for multiple things. I asked for them to give me feedback on how engaging the film was. I also asked for them to review how good the acting of the film was. They also gave me feedback of what the overall state of the film. I have to improve some of the cutting because it feels unnatural. Other than that the review was fairly good. I got good feedback on the color grading from all of the people who reviewed. They also enjoyed the music choices throughout. They said that the plot was entertaining. The filming was also complimented throughout the film. I was asked multiple questions on the color grading of the film as it was one of the hardest parts of the editing process. Once I finish fixing the things mentioned in the peer review this project will finally come to an end. This has been a lot of fun. I look forward to hearing your thoughts of this film because we worked very hard on it. By pushing through I believe that me and my group did a wonderful job on this film.

  To be completely honest, that has to be one of the most disturbing films I’ve watched in a long time. There was no talking throughout the whole short film. The setting was lifeless and looked as if this animated world had been abandoned. The plot started with  two doll-like figures with some sort of numbers on their back, one being 5 and the other being 9. They end up coming across this mechanical looking monster, it looks like they went for a mixture of a lion and a dog type of design but made entirely of metal. It had bright green eyes and a disturbing roar. This monster proceeds to abduct the doll labelled 5 and uses a green portal device to kill him. Short Film Research: Other side of the box, Thriller genre

  The rainy, dismal night opens the first scene of the short film Other Side of the Box. A man driving throughout the city has a terrified expression on his face. We see glimpses of a mysterious figure in the rearview mirror that appears to be pursuing him. The man pulls up to an empty warehouse, opens the door, and leaves. Despite his efforts to locate a hiding place, it appears that the person has already located him. He turns as he hears footsteps and spots the shadowy figure standing at the doorway. The apparition approaches and stands over him, grinning, as he stumbles and hits the ground while attempting to flee.Even as he begs for his life, the figure lunges forward and draws a knife. A scuffle ensued, and he made an effort to retaliate. When it appears that there is no chance left, a group armed with rifles approaches and storms the building.   "Jet" is the title of the film. An overhead view of a man looking through the front windshield of an automobile opens the movie. An vehicle accelerates up a hill in the distance. As the man pulls a pistol to his side, the camera moves to the side of his head, exposing his intention to commit suicide. At that moment, a little girl bounces down the street, and the man grabs the daughter, puts the gun in the van, and drives up, leaving him unsure of what to do. After cutting to a scene of a man warily crossing a forest line to check where the car had disappeared, the action shifts to the man running through the trees in the direction of the house.He hides behind the car, stays in the bush, and runs across the front yard in time to see a man approach and take the girl out.
